Kennedy's 3rd Birthday

Happy Birthday to my sweet, smiley, adventurous little girl! I just can't believe that my little baby is 3! It was so fun to see her get so excited for it to be her turn for a birthday. It was her special day and she loved all the extra attention. Happy Birthday Kennedy!
Her turn for Breakfast in bed. Taylor was so excited for her she woke her up at 6:30 and came into my room explaining that I better start making Kennedy's breakfast. Of course Kennedy was excited, but it did take her a minute to wake up and enjoy it.

Kennedy loves my little ponies, especially star song which is a purple pony with wings. I thought it would be fun to make a pony cake for her. It wasn't my best work, but she loved it and that's all that matters!!

Kennedy's Friend Birthday party. Kennedy only wanted a purple party because purple is her favorite color. I decided that a purple theme wasn't enough to entertain 3 year olds with so we stepped it up a notch and went with a favorite things theme. It turned out very cute and Kennedy loved every second of it!

We had a cake walk where the kids won prizes
Kennedy loves bubbles! I thought it would be cute to have a machine constantly blowing the bubbles for me. It was a huge hit and I'm glad I wasn't the one to have to keep blowing bubbles.

Taylor's 5th Birthday

Taylor's favorite thing about having a birthday is getting Breakfast in Bed

Grandma Ricks came and surprised Taylor with a visit! I dropped Taylor off at school and headed to the airport to pick up Grandma. I didn't even give Taylor a hint as to any kind of surprise so when she saw Grandma it took her a little while to figure out what was going on. Although it wasn't quite the reaction we were looking for, Taylor really thought that was a really cool birthday surprise!

We all went to lunch and then got pedicures...another favorite activity of Taylors.

That night we had a birthday dinner at Red Robin

The next day was the big friend birthday party. Taylor still loves her disney princesses and especially Sleeping Beauty so we had a princess tea party. All the girls came dressed up and we tried to keep everything very girly.

Turning the big 3-0!!

Alright, with all my complaining about turning 30 I have to admit it isn't so bad. ;) I had a blast the week of my birthday, so if this is what old age is like then bring it on!! I had a great birthday with celebrations that went on for over a week. Who would complain about that? The weekend before my birthday I headed up to Winter Park with some friends where we went stayed up late playing games, laughing, eating nothing but candy, and skiing. It was awesome and I could have called it good with that. But on my birthday I was spolied again with breakfast in bed, lunch with my friend Laura, pedicures with Jami, dinner at Red Robin with my family and friends and then chocolate cake! Taylor loves birthdays and was so excited for me all day long which was too cute! Then the next weekend, Jami and Nate put together a totally awesome 80's party at Skate City. Everyone looked white hot in their best 80's get up and we rocked the rink showed all the preteens how to have a good time. It was so much fun! I was definitely spoiled! Thank you everyone who took the time to make me feel so loved! It was one of the best birthdays I have ever had!!
